I am excited about this new body of work. My artistic practice is a dynamic interplay of photography, sculpture and painting. I explore the changing nature of materials and the resulting images they become. My creations are not static; I seek to create images that evolve, capturing the essence of transformation. By tearing, breaking, scratching, bending, duplicating and layering, I build three-dimensional images that transcend traditional boundaries of art.
Themes of time, myth and mortality are captured in my work. My pieces are meditative reflections of the changes that occur with fractured and distressed objects, overlayed and blended colors, and natural decay, echoing the ephemeral nature of memories and dreams. Through my art, I seek participate in the ongoing dialogue between the material and its evolution, making my work a continuous journey of discovery and interpretation.
